Don’t Quit. I see a lot of people talking this morning about how Mitt Romney “won” the debate last night against President Obama. I didn't see it that way, but if you're a Obama supporter who did, then you should be feeling even MORE inspired to get involved in this election today. Not less.
While any Romney “victory” had a lot to do with him twisting the truth,
I still believe that last night will actually work in the President’s favor. A lot of people thought this election was already “in the bag” for President Obama and weren’t doing all they could to support him—registering to vote, helping others register, volunteering for the campaign, even sending in $.
Well, maybe now those people understand that the President is in a competitive race. One that I believe he will ultimately win, but only with your support. So don't get discouraged there first time there’s a stumble---the President sure isn’t, so you shouldn’t either. Instead, let’s refocus on making sure our voices are going to be heard next month.
Not a single one of us can afford to leave this job to someone else. Be powerful. Be heard. Be the change you want to see in the world. Vote.
