The Dark History of Medical Experimentation from the Nazis to Tuskegee to Puerto Rico (1352 hits)

This is a report by DemocracyNow! The historian in this story comes off cold and at one point stated that some of the men in the Tuskegee Experiment were not totally innocent. WHAT! Is this the thinking coming out of the colleges and universities, no wonder Big Parma care nothing about cures but only about the Al-Might Dollar.

Anyway, Amy Goodman did a good job of conveying the outrage that all should feel when people are abused.

Medical historian Susan Reverby, author of Examining Tuskegee: The Infamous Syphilis Study and its Legacy, discusses the history of medical experimentation at home and abroad. We also play excerpts of the documentary Deadly Deception: The Tuskegee Study.

Hello,

Mrs. Harriet Washington, an author informed us through her book, “Medical Apartheid” about these horrendous acts by White America on mostly minorities but sometimes even on their own people. Mrs. Harriet Washington was interviewed on TV a couple of years ago.

Mr. Steven Muhammad should not you now would want Black Americans to be a sovereign people on a portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders?

the experiments performed on African Americans is too numerous to think account... Dr. Gey and his exploitation against Henrietta Lacks, Dr. Marion Sims and his horrendous surgery on 3 black slave women he owned.. the Sanford Study which involved black prisoners... Willowbrook Mental hospital which involved mental children black and white.... the list goes on and on.... the most baffling of it all.... was how these acts were carried out and no one had enough decency to say something!!!
