Giving God All The glory!
Millions of Mental Health Consumers will find mental wellness and recovery steps under The Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act (the, "Act"). This Act represents a historic investment in the ability for higher education for a population of people who were forgotten, stigmatized, and flunked out of college because of their mental condition. However, they were offered no assistance to pay back student loans and sunk further into poverty and mental illness symptoms (i.e., Chronic Depression, Anxiety Disorder, Substance Abuses, and Bipolar, etc.).
In addition to lowering health care costs, this legislation will:
Improve the federal Pell Grant program making it possible for more Mental Health Consumers to both obtain and afford a college education.
The cost-benefit analysis of Mental Health Consumers having access to higher learning increases their self-confidence, mental stability (chemical balance), destroys stigmas, and develops qualified U.S. citizens to be productive in their communities. This benefits the United States over the long run to achieve and maintain global dominance.
This Act will deliver real reforms for millions of Mental Health Consumers who have been blocked from using their inner skills and talents to contribute to society. The result has been internal anger and frustration (and encouraging stigmas of "failure") for US and that leads to self-destructive behaviors that negatively affects our families and communities.
This is indeed a time for our nation to celebrate. Thank you, Dr. Jill Biden.
