Why are people not willing to donate to causes? (6042 hits)

Brother Rev.Clyde Dunning just bumped into me --he was telling me about the March on Washington he is planning ,to support President Obama--and the difficulty he has in getting Blacks to donate..I know the struggle so I gave $10.00 dollars on the spot--just like with the homeless that we give money to and then say what he does with it is between him and God--why do we have such a problem putting money into the kitty for our own causes? but we want to ask Nextel, and Sprint to donate..why do we not reach out to the Black Enterprise list of wealth?

My 2 cents to folks who have computers and a credit card? shouldn't be bragging about "their President" did they send $5.00? am talking about Main street not wealthy Black folks--no because they want to be carried by others-usual stuff in the community--"the common ignorant response? " he don't NEED my $5.00 dollars! community folks are so used to getting that they don't know how to give BACK!

It still isn't too late to be a part of the solution
