2008 IMAGE OF GOD AWARD ANNOUNCED ON SWAGGIE'S VOICE (808 hits)

The second annual 2008 Image of God Award virtual ceremony begins today at 8. Please stop by any time to enjoy the ceremony and leave your congratulatory comment for this year's winner! The winner will receive a $100.00 grand prize as well as a custom-made award. The award banner can be displayed on his or her websites to announce to the world his or her achievement in uplifting the African-American community through the literary arts.

The Image of God Award is comprised of highly-selective candidates featured all year sharing their purpose to uplift our community as positive role modes. Their work is inspiring and encouraging and a cut above the rest. Last year's recipient was Mr. David W. The Image of God Icon represents the majestic pureness of the heart to be compassionate and committed to raising the Village by fulfilling God's purpose for your life to bring His Kingdom forward one child at a time, one man/woman at a time, one family at a time, one community at a time...the Village!

During the year 2009, Swaggie Coleman will feature literary artists and artists dedicated to promoting the positive outcomes for our youth. If you are the author of a children's book or family-oriented artist of any trade or if you specialize in any area such as education and empowerment of African-American youth, you may
send a query with the mandatory subject line: Year of the Child to Swaggie Coleman at swaggie86@aol.com for consideration.

The submission should incude your work, short bio, and how your work empowers African-American youth. Please adhere to thee guidelines and send your query to swaggie86@aol.com. You will be contacted only if you are chosen through the highly-selective process to be featured during one month during the 2009 calendar year beginning on or about January 15, 2009!
