Senior Director, Head of Internal Communications|
Part of the Corporate Communications Team, The Senior Director, Head of Internal Communications will be responsible for all internal communications at Otsuka, overseeing the Internal Communications Team.

As the leader of the Internal Communications team, you'll lead and oversee the creation and delivery of innovative, compelling content and campaigns that bring our culture to life, communicate our initiatives and elevate the employee experience.
In this role, you'll lead Otsuka's digital and editorial internal content strategy, enhance our storytelling capabilities, and showcase stories that matter, have impact, and make a difference for our employees. The ideal candidate will focus on integration with the External Communications and Corporate Brand & Marketing teams to deliver a holistic communications program.
The ideal candidate is a natural leader, influencer and has a journalistic approach, superb writing and copyediting skills, experience creating content strategies that build and grow audiences, and knows how to keep their finger on the pulse of the organization to drive great storytelling opportunities.
At least 15 years successfully leading editorial and content teams, and creating and driving content strategies.

Change leader, able to shape mindsets at the organizational level

Outstanding communicator - written and verbal
Story creator and master storyteller; journalist at heart and is a proactive, strategic planner of content
Employee-centric; everything they do is with the employee in mind
Passion for strengthening corporate culture and productivity, and building community within a diverse workforce
Strong leadership with an emphasis on collaboration, proactivity, and flexibility, and is able to rally people and influence to get things done
Strong project and program management skills, with the ability to drive multiple projects simultaneously
Curiosity and a passion for using storytelling to create experiences
Preference for variety over consistency in one's workday
Ability to cut through ambiguity and navigate uncharted waters to deliver outcomes.
Experience, ideally from corporate communications and/or brand marketing team, digital agency, or top online publisher or media company.
Degree in journalism, communications or marketing preferred.
