7 year-old BLACK GIRL creates web video game using algebra concepts (1313 hits)

Zola Ball, 7 year-old student at Harambee Institute of Science and Technology in Philadelphia is the youngest student to create a video game app.

Using a programming language called 'bootstrap', Zola reconfigured her video game at the Bootstrap Expo. Bootstrap is a kid's computer program language which uses and practices algebra concepts to develop video games.

Tariq Al-Nasir, who founded the schools chapter of Stemnasium Learning Academy is expecting great things from Zola and other classmates.

Zola's older brother, Trace Ball has previously been awarded the 'STEM' scholar of the year title. This award is giving by Stemnasium Learning Academy. Stem Learning Academy's vision is for all students to become competent in a technology-dependent society.
